If your child is critically ill, we know this is one of the most frightening times of your life. Our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) team is here to provide advanced, specialized and compassionate care. We also include you as part of the care team because you play a valuable role in your child’s treatment.

Our Board-Certified PICU physicians provide 24/7 care for a variety of medical and surgical conditions, including:

• Juvenile diabetes
• Acute and chronic respiratory failure requiring mechanical ventilation
• Severe infections
• Shock
• Circulatory failure
• Seizures and other neurological disorders
• Trauma
• Post-operative care
• Referral for Pediatric Sub Specialties (PDF)

Our PICU physicians work with the Emergency Transit and Memorial MedFlight Team to provide ground and air transportation to pediatric patients requiring the highest level of care.
