Kerri Anderson is a personal trainer and group fitness instructor. She holds a Personal Training Certification through National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and a Group Exercise Certification through Aerobic & Fitness Association of America (AFAA). Kerri is a Les Mills GRIT Coach, a Certified Balanced Body Pilates Reformer and Pilates Chair Instructor. She also holds certifications in Ballet Barre, Pilates Mat and WaterinMotion. Kerri finds her true passion in high intensity interval training and competitive running and incorporates her ambitious approach into helping her clients surpass their fitness goals.

As a registered clinical exercise physiologist, Casey’s passion is to help others with limitations to exercise, specifically physiologically. Casey has experience in working with cardiovascular, pulmonary, metabolic and many other special populations. As a fitness professional, he believes that it is his duty to be an educator and provide insight on primary and secondary prevention through exercise. Casey will support and empower individuals as they embark on a journey to a healthier lifestyle for themselves and for their families.

Jason Fransted

Jason enjoys coaching endurance sports, most specifically running, which he considers his specialty. He has experience in coaching cross country, track, volleyball and Crossfit endurance classes. He enjoys working with all levels of fitness. Jason doesn’t have one specific philosophy toward exercise except that hard work will always yield results.

Melissa Cooper

Melissa played volleyball competitively for 10 years; including high school, the US Lakeland Regional Team and College. She has 5 years of coaching experience; including high school and the US Lakeland Regional High Performance Development Team and Club. Melissa has a passion to help individuals be their best in all aspects of life. She believes becoming healthy is more than just being physically fit; it is also being mentally fit and loving ones authentic self. Her staple for clients to excel in their fitness journey is to motivate oneself by taking action — just start moving. She enjoys a wide variety of clientele and aims to create programs that incorporate a fitness aspect which the client is confident in doing and can enjoy all while challenging them to step outside there comfort zone, to find new likes within the fitness industry.

Brad has experience working with high school and college athletes, adults just wanting to maintain their fitness level and individuals with physical limitations. He has worked with people coming off of physical therapy; many whom have thrived after learning what they can and can’t do and how to get back to their former self. Brad believes that everyone has needs and goals and it’s just a matter of finding what works best for each individual. Brad is a fan of Olympic lifts and functional movements. During his free time, he is a competitive water skier.

Elisha’s belief in holistic health provides the foundation of her philosophy towards fitness. She believes that fitness goes beyond what one sees in the mirror, the time spent in the gym or the amount of weight one can lift – it’s a way of life which involves balancing nutrition, physical activity, rest and positive thinking. Elisha enjoys working with a diverse clientele ranging in fitness levels and goals. She especially enjoys circuit & interval training and programs geared towards weight loss and weight management.

Jake is extremely passionate about working with people who have a wide range of abilities and goals. He has experience working with people who have chronic diseases, athletes and those looking to change their body composition. He doesn’t claim to have any specialties but rather being a “jack-of-all-trades” who has the ability and knowledge to work with anyone. His philosophy is based on a deep scientific understanding of the human body and research in the field combined with practical experience. His goal is to design safe and effective workouts that are designed specifically for the goals and ability level of each individual. Jake currently competes in powerlifting competitions and has also competed in triathlons in the past. Besides training, Jake also leads our Phase IV Cardiac Rehab, Roll It Out: Corrective Exercise and TRX classes.

At Beacon Health & Fitness, Sarah is a fitness specialist, sports performance coach and personal trainer. She orients her training philosophies around injury prevention and an increased quality of life. She has a passion for helping every person learn to sustain a healthy lifestyle.

Del is the Group Fitness Coordinator at Beacon Health & Fitness for both Granger and South Bend locations. She has worked within the fitness industry for over 30 years. Del has worked for Beacon Health & Fitness since 1995 teaching a variety of class formats: GRIT, Strength, Pilates Reformer, Pilates Chair and Barre. Del holds AFAA Group Fitness, GRIT, Ball, Bosu and cycling certifications. Del is a Certified Personal Trainer with AFAA and is a PHI and Balance Body Pilates Certified Trainer on all equipment. Del specializes in Pilates equipment and loves the way these fantastic pieces of equipment can change lives.

Chelsea Reese

Chelsea discovered her passion for fitness while teaching first grade for her first three years after college. Beginning with running 5K races, she moved on to half marathons and marathons, before also becoming interested in weight training and participating in competitive bodybuilding. Whether her clients are looking to lose or manage weight, build muscle, improve overall health, or gain strength or speed, Chelsea is invested in training individuals with scientifically-backed strategies, emphasizing proper form and technique. She deeply values all aspects of health and helping others work towards their personal fitness goals with a holistic, sustainable approach.
