Swim lessons start again January 2021 with some important safety precautions in place.
If you are in any way uncomfortable or just don’t feel like you’re ready to come back to the pool yet, that’s okay. We want you to feel comfortable, safe, and ready. We have a guide online laying out all of the steps we have implemented as a facility and changes that you will see when you return: Safety Precautions Guide.
We are limiting the number of classes at a time so that no more than 2 classes start at a given time in each pool and classes will “stagger start” with a minimum of 15 minute intervals, so that we reduce the number of students on deck.
Our instructors wear face masks during lessons for all “hands on” lessons, only removing them when classes are in the deep end (working on diving, etc)
Classes are spread out throughout the pools, starting at opposite ends when possible.
Kickboards, taped lines and other props will be used for “wait spacing” while swimmers are on the wall waiting their turn.
Swimmers are limited to one “parent/caregiver” per student in the facility.
Parent chairs are spaced a minimum of 6’ apart on deck.
Please arrive no more than 10 minutes early for class.
Swimmers are encouraged to arrive in swimsuits to minimize locker room use, family/24 hour bathrooms are available for use. Hair dryers are not available at this time.
Additional information with regards to entering the building, check in locations, etc. will be emailed out prior to the start of the first lesson.
If your child needs an evaluation or you need a refresher on the registration process Hannah will be at the Commons Information Desk on Monday & Wednesday from 10am-Noon and again 6pm-8pm and on Tuesday 7-9am.
