Wellness Coaching

Wellness coaching is a partnership of equals. An experienced wellness coach offers you judgment-free support, helps build upon your core values and strengths, and assists you in creating strategies for living a healthy, happy life. Together, you can design a future full of vitality, well-being and resilience.

Your wellness coach can help you with the following:

  • Increasing your exercise & physical activity levels
  • Stress reduction & self care
  • Improving food decisions
  • Time management
  • Elevating energy levels
  • Developing a sense of healthy purpose

12 Week Individual Coaching Plan

Weekly face-to-face or over the phone sessions foster the development of your unique Wellness Vision. Your Wellness Coach is your ally and sounding board in the construction of 3-month goals, and manageable realistic weekly action-based goals.

First Session

Allow 60-90 minutes in order to discuss your Well-being Assessment and begin to discover which areas of wellness shall be your highest priorities at this time.

Regular sessions

Allow 30-45 minutes each for 6 continuing sessions.

Staff

All of our Wellness Coaches are personable and professionally certified.

Bridget Hardy is a trainer committed to every aspect of fitness. She is a fitness instructor who teaches Strength, Step and Salsa Dancing. Never an athlete, she believes anyone can achieve substantial fitness goals and find peace of mind and body through the practice of regular exercise. Bridget is actively seeking clients interested in moving towards the next level of strength fitness, or anyone looking to start an accessible but challenging program. As a writer and chronic computer user, she’s particularly committed to the importance of posture, strength, flexibility and body awareness for those who nobly sit at a desk all day. She is certified by the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) as a Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor.

Kris Kurtz Ohlson is a certified wellness coach and is passionate about health, wellness, joy and especially optimism. Kris was a co-founder of Girls on the Run Michiana, a non-profit organization that encourages pre-teen girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun experience-based curriculum that creatively integrates running. Kris, as many people have, has experienced a series of life-changing losses. She believes that through life’s challenges we can gain strength; through grief we can find resilience; through hardships we can find hope.
