Based at Elkhart Municipal Airport, MedFlight and its highly trained critical care transport specialists are available 24 hours per day, 365 days per year to respond quickly and transport your critically ill or injured patients. Our aircraft is operated by Air Methods, Part 135 provided.<\/p>\n

The mission of Memorial MedFlight is to safely and efficiently transport the seriously ill or injured patient between hospitals or from the pre-hospital environment to the most appropriate level of care to promote the patient\u2019s best possible quality of life. As an ancillary department within Memorial Hospital, the mission of Memorial MedFlight reflects the mission, vision and core values of Memorial Hospital.<\/p>\n

Focus on Safety<\/h3>\n

Safety is our focus, expertise in treatment and transport is our specialty. Our air medical team is supported by an aviation team of experienced pilots and mechanics. Memorial MedFlight pilots are specially qualified for air medical transportation, each with over 2,000 flight hours logged before becoming air medical pilots.<\/p>\n
