American Red Cross Courses Offered:<\/h2>\n

Lifeguarding<\/h4>\n

      \n
    • Cost: $250\/person (+ Processing Fee)<\/em><\/li>\n
    • The primary purpose of the courses in the American Red Cross Lifeguarding program is to provide participants with the knowledge and skills needed to:\n
        \n
      • Prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies.<\/li>\n
      • Provide professional-level care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries, and sudden illnesses until emergency medical services (EMS) professionals take over.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Lifeguarding Recertification<\/h4>\n

            • The primary purpose of a recertification course is to give participants who are currently certified American Red Cross Lifeguarding (Including Deep Water) the opportunity to review the course knowledge and skills within a formal course setting to maintain their American Red Cross Lifeguarding (including Deep Water) certification.\n

              • For those with a current American Red Cross Lifeguarding Certificate or expired by no more than 30 days<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                Water Safety Instructor (WSI)<\/h4>\n

                  • Cost: $275\/person (+ Processing Fee)<\/em><\/li>\n
                  • The purpose of this instructor course is to train instructor candidates to teach courses and presentations in the American Red Cross Swimming and Water Safety program including Parent and Child Aquatics, Preschool Aquatics, Learn-to-Swim, Adult Swim, Private Lessons, Water Safety Courses (including Safety Training for Swim Coaches*) and Water Safety Presentations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                      • The purpose of the American Red Cross r. 24 Lifeguarding Instructor course is to train instructor candidates to teach the basic-level courses in the American Red Cross Lifeguarding program.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                        Lifeguarding Instructor Recertification w\/ Base Lifeguarding<\/u><\/h4>\n

                          • The purpose of the American Red Cross r. 24 Lifeguarding Instructor Recertification course is to give instructors the opportunity to review the course knowledge and skills within a formal course setting to maintain their American Red Cross Lifeguarding Instructor certification. Successfully completing this course is the only method for maintaining certification as an American Red Cross Lifeguarding instructor. Once expired by no longer than 2 years, candidates may take the Lifeguarding Instructor Crossover\/Reentry course. Expired candidates may participate in Lifeguarding Instructor course.<\/li>\n
                          • Course includes the requirements for recertification of Base Level Lifeguarding.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                              • The Certified Pool & Spa Operator\u00ae (CPO\u00ae) certification program is the world\u2019s leading education and certification program for keeping pools safer and keeping them open. Over 700,000 students have been trained since 1973.<\/li>\n
                              • CPO certification provides individuals with the knowledge, techniques, and skills required for proper pool operations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
