Welcome to Open Swim!<\/h1>\n

Open swim at Elkhart Health & Aquatics gives members of the community a chance to swim in its larger than Olympic-sized swimming pool.<\/p>\n

When is open swim?<\/strong> For open swim times, see our Commons calendar.
\n<\/em><\/p>\n

What should I bring?<\/strong> Family-friendly swimsuit, towel, and, if needed, swim diaper, US Coast Guard approved life jacket, puddle jumpers.<\/p>\n

What should I leave at home?<\/strong> Flotation devices, including water wings, noodles and rafts.<\/p>\n

Where can I swim?<\/strong> The 4-foot deep end of the competition pool.<\/p>\n

Which locker room do I use?<\/strong> Public men, public women and family changing areas are available for use.<\/p>\n

Do you have towels?<\/strong> Please bring your own from home.<\/p>\n

Can youth participate?<\/strong> Yes! Children 12 and under MUST be accompanied by a parent IN the water. Swimmers between 13-17 must be accompanied by an adult in the pool area. The ratio for these requirements is 5 children to 1 adult.<\/p>\n

Must parents remain on site?<\/strong> Under 18, parent must remain on the premises at all times.<\/p>\n

Are there lifeguards on duty?<\/strong> Yes! Always!<\/p>\n
