Specializing in hematology/medical oncology and radiation, the physician team works side by side with a dedicated staff of nurses, therapists, navigators, social workers, dietitians and nurse practitioners to deliver the highest quality of care.
Beacon Cancer Care Memorial utilizes the most advanced technology and procedures in the region to diagnose and treat cancer, offering advanced radiation therapy treatment techniques, specialized cancer vaccine trials, chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatment regimens.
In addition to medical care, the Beacon Cancer Care offers a wide variety of services at each site to complement a patient’s primary course of treatment, including massage therapy, exercise, yoga and acupuncture.

Each patient is cared for daily by a multidisciplinary team of experts: your Beacon Medical Group oncology physician, a nurse practitioner, your nurse on the unit, a clinical nurse specialist (CNS), oncology clinical pharmacist, dietitian, palliative care nurse, spiritual care, pain management nurse and a social worker.
This team of experts meets with you and your family, addressing all your needs and involving you in your care every day during your hospital stay.
As a patient-focused care center, we bring our experts and most services right to your room. Our services include chemotherapy, radiation therapy, blood product transfusions, nutritional support, pain and symptom management, spiritual care, pre- and post-care for bone marrow transplant patients, physical therapy, psychosocial support, pulmonary treatments as well as other supportive therapies.
Our compassionate nursing staff includes many who are oncology certified as well as those who have achieved certification in chemotherapy biotherapy treatments.
Our unit features 23 private patient rooms and is located on the 10th floor at Memorial Hospital; take elevator C to the unit.
Our patient rooms include flat-screen televisions. All of our rooms are positive pressure rooms that protect patients with depressed immune systems. Family members and visitors are welcome to spend time in our family room, which is located on our unit.
