Dr. Erin Kevern knew early on that she wanted to go into the medical field. She credits her high school AP biology class for sparking a love of science and understanding of how the human body works. In medical school, she determined that otolaryngology was the best fit for her. Healing problems of the ear, nose, and throat was something that fit her passion, as she loves the minutia of head and neck anatomy.
Another passion of hers is taking care of people. “I don’t want them to feel like they’re part of the system. I treat everyone as if they are family.” Giving the best care possible is one of the many rewarding aspects of her work. Seeing patients have a positive outcome is inspiring. “I hope to make a change in people’s lives, for the best.”
Having been raised in a small town apple farming community, Dr. Kevern can relate to everyone in some way. When she’s not healing patients, she can be found running, traveling or spending time with her family.
She is married with two beautiful, rambunctious children. Her interests range from infants to adults – including ear tubes, tonsils, thyroid surgery, voice surgery, nasal and sinus surgery, head and neck cancer, facial plastics and Inspire implantation.
