Pediatric Airway

Learning Objectives: 

  • Understand the difference between adult and pediatric airways
  • Identify causes of stridor
  • Identify causes of airway obstruction at different levels of the airway

Doctor Pfeiffer comes from the great whitenorth of Alberta, Canada. He attended BrighamYoung University in Provo, Utah. and graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Biochemistry. Dr. Pfeiffer fulfilled his childhood dreams by attending Des Moines   University, graduating with a Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and acted as chief resident his final year. As a general otolaryngologist, he treats a broad range of ear, nose and throat disorders. More specifically he is clinically interested in cancers of the head and neck, thyroid and endocrine disorders, rhinology, laryngology, and salivary gland disease. His hope is to contribute to the community by continuing to provide personalized and innovative patient care in a friendly setting.
