Larkin Community Hospital has announced a new Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology Clinic at their South Miami and Palm Springs (Hialeah) campuses.  Led by Dr. Hassan Nasir, the clinic offers allergy testing (both skin and blood), aeroallergen testing, drug allergy testing, allergy shots (immunotherapy), inhalers, immune system tests, patch testing, Xolair, pulmonary function tests, spirometry, and more. The clinic serves both children and adults.

Dr. Nasir completed medical school at Michigan State University before continuing his training in Internal Medicine at St. John Hospital. Afterwards he specialized in Adult and Pediatric Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology at Nova Southeastern University/Larkin Community Hospital. He is board certified in both Internal Medicine, and Allergy/Immunology. He serves as the program director of the NSU/LCH Allergy/Immunology fellowship, where he trains new physicians in this exciting field!



Accreditation Statement: The Beacon Health System is accredited by the Indiana State Medical Association to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Designation Statement: This CME initiative is designed to meet the educational needs of U.S.-based members of multidisciplinary teams involved in the management of patients with IPF.  The grand round is accredited for physicians for 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. RNs and APNs will be awarded 1.00 contact hour(s) of continuing nursing education.
