He earned his Bachelor of Science in human biology from Michigan State University in 2013, followed by a Doctor of Medicine degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Cooney completed his residency in emergency medicine at the Lewis Gale\/Chippenham Medical Center program in Salem and Richmond, Virginia, where he served as Chief Resident during his final year (2022\u20132023).
