Introducing PlanSource

Open Enrollment is upon us. We know decisions of this magnitude can put you under pressure. If you need assistance throughout open enrollment, don’t be afraid to reach out and ask for help from our Benefits Team.

This year, you will now have a new benefit enrollment platform to enroll in your benefits called PlanSource. PlanSource offers a user friendly experience and allows enrollment for all your health plans and voluntary benefits. Access to the system is available via the internet, mobile devices, and their amazing mobile App. PeopleSoft will no longer be used to enroll in benefit plans, but will still be accessible to view current benefits, associate biographical information and payroll. Instructions are available here.

Every year, we make slight changes to our employee benefit plans that can affect your paycheck (through your premium contributions) and your pocketbook (through your deductibles, copays, and prescriptions).

To make sure your favorite plans still make sense for you and your family, please visit ALEX®, which has been updated with our new plan information, and fortified with new boredom-busting vitamins and minerals.

ALEX is an online tool that will help you select the best benefit plan for you and your family. When you talk to ALEX he’ll ask you a few question about your health care needs, crunch some numbers, and point out what makes the most sense for you.

2019 Benefits Overview

Medical Plans

Associates will have two medical plans to choose from for 2019.

  • There will be no changes to the CDHP plan for 2019, including no premium change.
  • The Accountable Care Organization (ACO) plan will continue to be an option for associates and their families in 2019. There will be an increase in premium for this plan.

The Medical Plans will continue to be administered by Meritain Health. Those who newly enroll in the medical plan during Open Enrollment will receive ID cards from Meritain mailed to your home address.

Dental & Vision Plans

Once again we will be offering dental and vision options, administered by Cigna. There will be an increase in premium for vision and all three dental plans for 2019.

New Voluntary Benefits

New voluntary products will be offered during Open Enrollment and are administered by Cigna Voluntary Benefits. These plans are designed to complement your medical plan to protect your financial future. During Open Enrollment you’ll have a chance to enroll in the following benefits:

  • Critical Illness insurance pays a fixed lump sum benefit if you’re diagnosed with a covered condition, to help you focus on getting better.
  • Accidental Injury insurance provides lump sum, fixed benefits for covered accidents. It can help you pay for out-of-pocket expenses that may not be covered by medical insurance, such as transportation, or child care.
  • Hospital Care insurance pays fixed benefits according to a schedule when you incur a covered hospital stay resulting from a covered injury or illness.
  • Whole Life insurance pays a benefit on the death of the insured and also accumulates a cash value.
