Meet Our Educators

Beacon_childbirth_ashley

Ashley B is a RN and a IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant). Ashley has been working at Memorial Hospital since 2008. After having her first child and receiving amazing care from the nurses here at Memorial, she realized she needed to become a nurse herself. She graduated from Bethel College in 2014 and started working on the mother baby unit as a floor nurse. As a mother of four, Ashley understands the personal difficulties that can come with the breastfeeding journey and it has impacted her to provide support to foster mom and baby connection. Ashley currently works on the floor as a lactation consultant and teaches our breastfeeding basics class.
