Course Closing

The marathon course closes to runners and reopens to vehicle traffic according to the slowest allowable pace of a 14-minute mile. Waterstops will also close according to that pace. The finish line remains open for an official time of 6.25 hours, until 12:45 p.m. If you are not keeping at least a 14-minute mile pace, you will need to run on the sidewalk.
