Breasts

Whether you are interested in a breast augmentation, lift, or reduction for enhanced confidence or to restore your shape following an illness, you might not feel comfortable with the topic. Dr. Hauch and his team have experience and knowledge to discuss your needs in a caring and understanding atmosphere.

Through surgical treatments, we perform breast lifts, breast augmentation, breast revisions, and breast reductions for women and men. Procedures may include liposuction, fat grafting and other techniques.

  • Breast augmentation: A surgical procedure that increases the size of the breasts; this can include implants or fat grafting.
  • Breast lift: This procedure, called a mastopexy, is done by raising and reshaping your breasts to create a rounder, firmer look.
  • Breast reduction mammoplasty: A reduction surgery of the breasts involves removing fat, breast tissue and skin.
  • Male breast reduction: A condition known as gynecomastia, which is an increased amount of breast or gland tissue in males, can be corrected through surgery through liposuction, excision, and fat grafting to the pectoral muscles.
  • Breast reconstruction: For surgical treatment following removal of breast cancer.
  • Implant removal (no replacement): A surgery to take out silicone or saline implants. Breast implants typically last for about 10 to 15 years. Some people have implant removal surgery because of tissue hardening around the implant or other complications; others may have surgery to replace old implants with new ones.
  • Implant revision: The goal of breast implant revision surgery is to replace old breast implants with new implants. Often the goal is also to change or improve the appearance of the breasts while updating the implant material, which could include a concurrent breast lift or reduction.
  • Mastopexy: A surgical procedure that lifts the breasts higher on the chest.
  • Transgender female to male mastectomy: Removal of breast tissue for gender affirmation.
  • Transgender male to female mastectomy: Breast augmentation for gender affirmation.
