Overview
The cause of dyshidrotic eczema is unknown. It can be associated with a skin disorder called atopic dermatitis, as well as seasonal allergies, such as hay fever.
Symptoms
In dyshidrotic eczema, tiny, fluid-filled blisters appear on the hands and feet. They may also appear on the soles of the feet. The blisters often last about 3 weeks and can be very itchy.
Treatments
Using a skin cream or ointment with hydrocortisone may ease symptoms.
