A skin condition that happens when sweat ducts get blocked and sweat becomes trapped under the skin.
Heat rash, also called miliaria, is common in hot, humid weather. It happens when sweat can’t leave the skin through the sweat ducts and gets trapped instead.
The rash may look like small blisters or red bumps. It can also cause itching or a prickly, stinging feeling.
Heat rash usually goes away on its own once the skin cools down and stays dry.
