With nummular dermatitis, coin-shaped rashes or sores appear on the skin. It may occur after an injury.
Symptoms
The sores may spread, ooze, itch, and crust over. The condition can last for months.
Treatments
Treatments can include a medicated cream or ointment and bandages. Antihistamines at bedtime can ease itching and help with sleep.
