Cuteness from a kindergartener

“My son, Jude, came home from school today all excited that he doesn’t have to go to school on Memorial Day, so I asked him if he knew why we celebrate Memorial Day?” says Stephanie Swanson, RN, Mother-Baby Unit at Memorial Hospital of South Bend.
Her little boy replied, “Because Memorial is the best hospital in the world so we have to celebrate it!”
Stephanie decided she wouldn’t correct Jude.
“I let him believe this is why we celebrate. So if he fails kindergarten social studies, at least I know he believes our hospital is the best!”
