Eye on Health: “Best Medicine” class offers supervised workouts for cardiac recovery
January brings a fresh wave of gym-goers pursuing New Year’s resolutions to Beacon Health & Fitness. But for heart attack survivor Bill Thistlethwaite, it’s about protecting his health.
After never belonging to a gym in his life, Bill now relies on Beacon’s “Best Medicine Heart Healthy” program, where the team monitors his blood pressure throughout each workout.
“You feel a little safer having somebody watch over you,” Bill says.
