EGH Associate of the Year

Traci Rocks!

Congratulations to Traci Flickinger, an Associate at Elkhart General since 1991, for being selected Associate of the Year for 2013. Traci first worked on the Skilled Nursing Unit before transferring to the Pharmacy. She worked as a technician on third shift before moving to her current position, Pharmacy Inventory Control Technician.

A Wakarusa resident, Traci demonstrates the highest ethical standards and Beacon values in her job which entails purchasing medications and supplies. An outside pharmacy consultant said, “Traci does such a good job that there wasn’t anything we could do to improve her processes.”

She is known as a quick learner who builds morale, who helps with medication shortages on her days off, who puts the patient at the center above all else and who does the right thing by not taking short cuts and consistently assisting her fellow workers.
