What does an electrophysiologist do?

These specialists will determine if you have an irregular rhythm and why. Tests may include:

  • Advanced computer mapping system that provides a picture of the heart’s electrical layout
  • Electrocardiogram (ECG or EKG)
  • Holter monitor
