Little superheroes make Halloween debut in Beacon Children’s Hospital NICU

Prepare for cuteness overload as our Beacon Children’s Hospital NICU babies dress up in their first Halloween costumes, from mighty superheroes to precious pumpkins.

“When you are in the NICU, it seems like the world stops on the inside but keeps going on the outside. Seeing my baby in a Halloween costume gave me hope,” said Tiana, whose baby boy Legacy, spent 97 days in the hospital.

The costume choice for her warrior? A lion. “When I think of a lion, I think of strength and how this wild animal is a fighter. From the time Legacy was born at 24 weeks, he has been all that — strong and feisty. The costume fit him perfectly.”

These cherished moments remind us that even in the NICU, life’s precious milestones deserve to be celebrated. We’re honored to help make Halloween magical for our littlest patients and their families.
