Job Summary

Our dynamic and collaborative Rheumatology team practices across two locations in northern Indiana. Granger and Goshen offering physicians the opportunity to work in modern facilities with strong specialty support and an excellent quality of life. 

Granger, Indiana 

Our Granger site is a dedicated Rheumatology practice located within Beacon Granger Hospital. This newly built space includes an eight-chair infusion center, eight exam rooms, and convenient in-house imaging and laboratory services. As Beacon’s largest Rheumatology practice, you’ll work alongside a robust network of specialists, including  highly regarded Orthopedics and Neurology teams, allowing for seamless referrals and multidisciplinary collaboration. 

Goshen, Indiana 

At our Goshen location, you’ll join an exceptional group of board-certified specialists committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. The Goshen Outpatient Center offers convenient onsite imaging and lab services and close collaboration with multiple specialties, including Neurosurgery, Cardiology, and Gynecology, supporting comprehensive care for complex patients.

Qualifications: 

  • Must have strong clinical skills in diagnosing and managing autoimmune and inflammatory conditions 
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and multidisciplinary collaboration
  • Innate drive to succeed  
  • Enjoys a busy practice

Work Schedule

  • M-F, No Weekends, No Holidays 
  • Flexible start/stop times depending on physician preference and clinic need
  • Occasional Call. 1:4, 0 – 3 calls per week
  • Our model uses a hospitalist team for all inpatient coverage, so there is no inpatient call requirement, allowing for a more predictable schedule and better work-life balance

Leadership Role Opportunities

  • Affiliation with Indiana University School of Medicine at Notre Dame and Memorial Hospital Family Medicine Residency allows for teaching of residents, medical students and supervision of post-graduate trainees. 
  • Involvement in quality initiatives, clinical standardization, and system-wide committees. 
  • Opportunities to build niche specialties (e.g., osteoporosis management, autoimmune dermatology, vasculitis, infusion therapy optimization). 
  • Support for CME, conferences, and other professional development opportunities.

Practice Highlights

A typical day includes a balanced mix of new consultations and follow-up visits, reviewing  labs and imaging, completing documentation and e-prescribing, and coordinating care  plans. You’ll work closely with our infusion teams to oversee biologic therapies and support  ongoing treatment plans. 

Physicians benefit from strong multidisciplinary collaboration with nursing, pharmacy, and  care coordination teams, as well as efficient workflows, steady patient volume, and  dedicated support staff allowing you to focus on delivering excellent patient care.  Procedural opportunities include joint injections and aspirations, as clinically appropriate.

Our practices are built on a strong, collaborative, team-based model that includes Rheumatologists, CMAs, Infusion Nurses, Pharmacy support, Registration/Patient Access  Specialists, a Practice Manager, and a supervisor.
