Epworth Team Celebrates Three-Peat

For the third year in a row, MDwise recognized the Social Services/Utilization Review (UR) team members at Memorial Epworth Center for their success in ensuring discharged patients receive a follow-up appointment within seven days.

“The Social Services/UR team is a dedicated, hard-working group that truly puts patients at the center of their work,” says Lynn Rhody LCSW, LCAC, Manager. “They understand that successful recovery depends on a comprehensive and timely discharge plan. They work diligently with community providers to secure seven-day follow-up appointments as part of this plan.”

Memorial Epworth Center was one of only five inpatient behavioral health facilities in Indiana to receive the recognition and the accompanying stipend from MDwise for this high performance. MDwise works with the State of Indiana and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to administer health insurance plans, including the Healthy Indiana Plan.
