In the Spotlight: Beacon Medical Group LaPorte

Because Beacon Health System spans such a large footprint in our region, it’s possible for some of our medical offices to sometimes get overlooked. Almost 30 miles west of Memorial Hospital is Beacon Medical Group LaPorte, Maple City’s largest and most distinguished multispecialty practice.

Established in 1969 on a beautiful scenic setting at 900 I Street, the medical practice provides exceptional care and customer service thanks to its 75-member staff.

A wide range of services is offered with more than 16 medical specialties on-site including the following: acupuncture, cardiology, family medicine, gastroenterology, hematology/oncology, nephrology, neurology, obstetrics and gynecology, occupational health, orthopedics, pain management, mental health, podiatry, pulmonology, rheumatology, general surgery and urology.

As a convenience, laboratory, radiology, CT scanning, cardiovascular testing, orthotics and ultrasound services are also available. The facility houses the core laboratory for Beacon Medical Group, serving all outpatient medical practices in LaPorte and South Bend with comprehensive laboratory services. The LaPorte building houses the LaPorte Medical Group Ambulatory Surgery Center, offering all types of outpatient surgeries. Memorial Home Care operates a retail store inside the three-story facility.
