Memorial Hospital, Elkhart General welcome our first Beacon babies of 2024
“It is a huge blessing and feels like my whole world has been completed with her.”
That’s how Kayla Enyeart describes becoming not only a first-time mom at 6:29 a.m. today, but also delivering the first baby of 2024 at Elkhart General Hospital.
Addison Diane Milonopoulos weighs 8 pounds, 1 ounce and measures nearly 21 inches long.
“Addison is a very smiley, content baby, super cuddly and has hardly cried since she made her entrance into the world,” Kayla said, noting how Addison is welcomed into a home with fur siblings. “She has been a dream come true.”
New dad Peter Milonopoulos expresses his gratitude to the Elkhart General team.
“We have a beautiful little girl thanks to the help of the awesome staff here at the maternity unit,” Milonopoulos said. “Everyone here at Elkhart General has been so amazing.”

Memorial Hospital’s first baby of 2024 arrived at 5:15 a.m.
Owen weighs 7 pounds, 4 ounces, and he is 19 inches long. Mom, Kelsey, dad Zach, and baby Owen are doing well.
“He is a very sleepy baby and doesn’t really cry. He loves to curl up, and you could even see him do this in the womb as well,” Kelsey said. “He grabs anything you put near him and likes to kick his legs up.”
Owen has two golden retriever siblings, Gus and Lucy, and one cat sibling named Moose.
Their hopes and dreams for their New Year’s baby?
“We just hope he lives a long, happy and fulfilling life,” Kelsey says.
