It’s a boy! Beacon welcomes its first baby of 2025 at Elkhart General Hospital
It’s a boy! Hannah and Billy Dahmen of Edwardsburg welcomed the first baby of the New Year at our Beacon hospitals.
Bennett Dahmen was born at 2:45 a.m. at Elkhart General Hospital, weighing in at 7 pounds, 10 ounces.
He has two older brothers, Liam, 4, and Everett, 2.
“It does feel really cool to have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be the first of the year. Definitely a cool snippet for the baby book,” the proud father said. “Regardless of being first, however, it feels better that he is healthy.”
Congratulations to the Dahmen family!
Today, we also want to spotlight Andrea Garcia and Jhavier Luna, who welcomed a baby girl just hours into the new year at the Three Rivers Health Hospital Birthing Center.
Julieta Luna Garcia was born at 5:02 a.m., weighing in at 9 pounds, 4 ounces. This is the Sturgis couple’s first child.
Congratulations, Andrea and Jhavier!
