Acute care
We provide around-the-clock rehabilitation care for patients who have severe injuries or paralysis following a traumatic accident or devastating side effects from a stroke or other neurological condition.
Inpatient therapy is available at Elkhart General Hospital and Memorial Hospital of South Bend. Patients in these units receive rehabilitation care day and night. This continues until they’ve regained enough skill and ability to return to their homes.
Patients who have suffered a traumatic accident or side effects from a stroke or other neurological condition, where severe injuries or paralysis has resulted, benefit from acute care.
