Tree of Love
Breast health financial assistance program
No one should have to delay a mammogram or breast health service because of financial concerns. Since 1985, the Tree of Love program has helped uninsured and underinsured patients in southwest Michigan access essential breast health services, including mammograms and other recommended breast care.
Breast cancer death rates have steadily declined since 1989, thanks in part to greater awareness, screening mammograms that help find cancer earlier and advances in treatment. Yet many patients still do not have insurance coverage for these important screenings.
Thanks to generous community support through Beacon Health Foundation, eligible patients can receive the breast health services they need regardless of their ability to pay.
