- Beacon Health System offer’s Voluntary Short Term Disability options as part of its benefit package. Voluntary Short Term Disability is a way to purchase income protection for you and your family if you suffer a disabling injury that keeps you away from work.
Eligibility: To be eligible to enroll in a Short Term Disability Plan, you need to be in a position with 16 hours or more per week/32 per pay period.Options: There are (4) plan options in which to choose. Please review each of the plans in order to make the best decision for you and your family.
Enrollment: Enrollment is open for all eligible associates within the first 31 days of hire. The only other time you can enroll is during Beacon’s annual Open Enrollment period, or if you have a Qualifying Family Status Change.
