What do we know about Posterior Reversible Encephalopathy Syndrome?

Dr. Jennifer Fugate is a Consultant in the Neuroscience ICU and Associate Professor of Neurology in the Department of Neurology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. She completed her Neurology Residency and Neurocritical Care Fellowship at Mayo Clinic Rochester. As a Mayo Clinic Scholar, she studied at the University of Cambridge in the UK to study brain monitoring techniques in a large population of patients with acute brain injury. She has been active in publishing clinical research, particularly on topics of Posterior Reversible Encephalopathy Syndrome and Anoxic Brain Injury and has been a member of writing groups for guidelines for the Neurocritical Care Society and the American Heart Association. She lives in Rochester with her husband, two young children, and enjoys running, reading, and Philadelphia sports in her leisure time.
