Learning Objectives:
- Overcome the initial barriers to using Outlook and the Microsoft suite and make it easier to access daily.
- Incorporate Outlook, Teams, Calendar and One Drive into the clinician daily routine – acting as a daily hub for the basis of your day’s events and tasks.
- Improve efficiency by combining external information into one easy to visualize location, including synchronizing calendars from external sources and automatically adding events.
- Improve communication within the system through Outlook and Teams.

Dr. English grew up in Indianapolis and proceeded to attend Purdue University, where he received a BS in Applied Physics. From there, he attended Indiana University School of Medicine which progressed into his Emergency Medicine Residency training at Western Michigan School of Medicine in Kalamazoo, MI. Dr. English moved to Elkhart in 2015 where he has been a physician at Elkhart General Hospital for over 10 years. For the past year, he has also taken on the role of Emergency Department Medical Director at Three Rivers Health Hospital. In addition, he is current president of the Indiana Chapter for the American College of Emergency Physicians. He maintains volunteer faculty at IU School of Medicine, assisting with Health System Science 2 as well as recently joining the GME Committee. Throughout his time, he has also taken on the role of Medical Director for Tri-County Ambulance service, serving the greater Michiana area. He has a passion for growing clinician connection through technology and utilizing technology to improve the daily practice routine. Currently, he continues to staff shifts full time at Three Rivers and Elkhart General ER.
