Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Elkhart General Hospital. New Volunteer Orientation dates and times are listed below as they become available. If an orientation changes, the information will be posted here, and individuals who have registered will be contacted to set up an interview.
2022 Orientation Dates and Times
In accordance with our board, local and state health departments, Beacon leaders have developed guidelines and protocols to ensure the safety of our associates, patients, volunteers and community at large amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. At this time, we’re excited to welcome volunteers back to our facilities again.
Available orientation:
May 24, 2022, in the EGH Boardroom at 10am
Requirements
Adults over the age of 18 are welcome to register online or call for more information about volunteering at Elkhart General Hospital. High school students aged 17 – 18 are welcome to call (574) 523-2761 for information on volunteering.
Parking Information
Please park on the 3rd, 4th or 5th floor of the Visitor Parking Garage. Take the elevator to the 1st floor and enter through the main entrance of the hospital. The orientation will take place in the boardroom located near Cafe 600. Stop at the Information Desk for further directions, or check with one of our friendly Redcoat volunteers. Remember, RSVP is required and we ask that you please arrive on time as we cover a lot of information during orientation.
