Beacon Allegan Volunteers

With their contagious smiles, comforting presence and huge hearts, our volunteers make Beacon Allegan (Formerly Borgess Allegan Hospital) feel like home. Due to the nature of our work, there are a number of requirements that all volunteers must meet.

To volunteer at Beacon Allegan, you must be 16 years or older and commit to volunteering for at least 6 months. First, you will need to complete a volunteer application and criminal background check, along with a TB test and annual flu shot. Next, you will participate in orientation and training sessions. Uniforms are required anytime you are volunteering. 

These requirements ensure that volunteers are well-prepared and dedicated to supporting the mission of Beacon Allegan. If you are interested in volunteering, please submit a volunteer application to start the process.
